Studying the work of Paul Klee
(QCA Unit 3B 'Investigating pattern')

This Case Study was done by Year 3 children at Chaddesley Corbett First School, with their teacher Sally Hall.

The internet was used to gather information about the artist.

The children found that Paul Klee found it difficult in his early stages to use colour and it wasn't until he went to visit North Africa that he 'found' colour!  As a result of this, we decided that we needed to look at 'View from the beach - Tunis' as a starting point
