This case study was based on the QCA unit 2b 'Mother Nature, designer' and involved Year 2 pupils from Charford First School in Bromsgrove with their teacher Wendy Dwyer.

The work developed from the use of a scanner and a digital camera as additional tools for children to explore their school environment.
